About the fund

The Bishop Theodore L. Brooks, Sr. & Lillie Janice Brooks Community Servant Scholarship Fund is an endowment with The Prosperity Foundation. The scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Bishop and Lady L. Janice Brooks, their service to and impact on the faith community, and the residents of the city of New Haven. The scholarship will support a Black student from the City of New Haven attending Albertus Magnus College with a 2.5 GPA or higher that is pursuing a degree in nursing, human services, religion or liberal arts.
